Pillar C · Grow with AI

Your AI should know your business. Not ask you to re-explain it every morning.

Team in a Box is a persistent AI operating system. It remembers your company, your people, your commitments, and your way of working.

What it is

The toolkit a leader actually opens on Monday.

Most AI tools sit on the periphery. Team in a Box puts them in the leader's operating rhythm: planning, review, hiring, decisions.

What it generates

What Team in a Box generates: briefs, drafts, decision memos, commitments, contact profiles, and weekly reviews from one AI core

It lives on your disk, not in a chat tab.

A folder you own. Close the chat and nothing is lost. Six months in, it knows more than any new hire could.

It compounds.

Every meeting processed, every decision logged, every contact remembered makes the next session smarter. Chat-based AI starts from zero every time. Team in a Box never does.

Proof

Real pilots, anonymized.

"Prep me for my meeting with [name]" returns who they are, your last interaction, what you promised them, and three talking points. In one pass.

The solution you didn't know you needed. It solves things people stopped seeing as problems: not knowing which decision to make, having no rational underpinning, wrestling for an hour with the wording of an email.

Management consultant · Team-in-a-Box pilot

I am thinking about a portal where people could get access to an (AI) multimodel option of TeamInABox, that is already set up and where the Executive profile is something that runs smoothly as an interview not as a document edit. In the portal you could also see different statistics more clearly, like the confidence level, an outline of assumptions etc.

FAQ

Team-in-a-Box, explained.

What AI subscription do I need to run Team-in-a-Box?+

Team-in-a-Box requires an active subscription to a commercially available LLM of your choice — such as ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), or Gemini (Google). TIAB is the structured operating layer that sits on top of that LLM; it does not replace the underlying model. A standard subscription to any compatible LLM is sufficient to get started. Microsoft Copilot compatibility is currently under validation.

How is Team-in-a-Box different from using ChatGPT or Claude directly?+

A direct ChatGPT or Claude session starts from zero every time. Team-in-a-Box gives the LLM persistent context: your company profile, your contacts, your open commitments, your decisions, and your way of working — all structured in files on your machine. The result is a session that already knows your business before you ask the first question. It compounds over time: six months in, it carries six months of operational memory. Beyond memory, TIAB structures how the LLM reasons — framing decisions across multiple lenses (risk, finance, legal, customer, organization), extracting commitments, enforcing explicit inputs, and producing deterministic outputs rather than confident-sounding guesses.

Is Team-in-a-Box designed for one executive or a full leadership team?+

Team-in-a-Box is designed around a single executive's operating rhythm — their contacts, their commitments, their decision style, their way of working. It is not a shared team workspace. Multiple leaders in the same organization can each run their own TIAB instance. The product is built for the individual leader who needs AI that knows their specific context — one that surfaces the right priorities, flags overdue commitments, prepares them for the next conversation, and structures decisions with the rigor of a full analytical team behind every call they make.

Is Team-in-a-Box secure for confidential business information?+

Local installation is the recommended path for security-conscious leaders. In local mode, all organizational context — contacts, commitments, decisions, meeting notes, project notes, strategic data, KPIs, financial context, and any quantitative or qualitative information the leader works with — lives as structured files on your own machine. Only the active query leaves the device, transmitted to the underlying LLM API. TIAB is not ITAR-compliant and is not designed for classified information. For non-classified sensitive business context, local installation is the highest-security configuration available within commercial LLM constraints.

How long does it take to get operational with Team-in-a-Box?+

Initial setup takes less than a day. The executive profile intake — which gives TIAB its context about you, your organization, your priorities, and your working style — takes approximately one hour. From that point the system is operational. It deepens over the first 30–90 days as meetings are processed, decisions are logged, and commitments are tracked.

Is Team-in-a-Box just a tool, or is there a learning component?+

Team-in-a-Box is three things simultaneously: a software system, an operating methodology, and a structured education program. The software layer handles persistence, context, and retrieval. The methodology provides the workflows — how to process a meeting, track a commitment, structure a decision, draft a communication in your voice. The education layer is where the multiplication effect comes from. Leaders who use TIAB consistently don't just get faster — they develop genuine judgment about where AI creates leverage and how to build it into the rhythm of how they lead. That capability compounds independently of the tool. The system is designed to make you better at leading with AI, not just to produce outputs faster.

Is Team-in-a-Box tax-deductible as a professional development expense?+

Team-in-a-Box is a structured professional development system, not just a software purchase. Leaders who use it build genuine AI literacy — learning to work with AI at the operational level, developing judgment about where AI applies and where it doesn't, and building repeatable workflows that compound over time. Because of this educational component, many companies may qualify to offset the cost through continuing education or professional development tax treatment. Under US tax law, employer-provided education assistance and professional development expenses are generally deductible as ordinary business expenses, and some structures may qualify under employee education assistance provisions. The net cost is typically lower than the sticker price suggests. Consult your tax advisor on the specific treatment for your situation.

How is Team-in-a-Box licensed?+

Team-in-a-Box is a purchase, not a subscription. You buy the license and own it — the way software licensing used to work. There is an optional maintenance plan that covers system updates, governance revisions, and new workflow additions as the product evolves. If you let maintenance lapse, you keep what you have. The license does not expire, and nothing is locked behind a recurring payment wall.
